The village of Intragna rises on a promontory, from which stands the tallest bell tower in the canton of Ticino with its 65 meters height and 166 steps. At the foot of the bell tower the eighteenth century Church of St. Gotthard with the oratory of 1400 ; not to be missed and the Regional Museum of Centovalli and Pedemonte , home of an interesting permanent collection, where to discover the history and traditions of the region, as well as temporary themed exhibitions and local artists. 800 meters from the village in the direction of the Centovalli we find, on the river Melezza, a magnificent Roman bridge whose construction dates back to the 15th century .
