Colli al Metauro

Once the core of the mighty Roman Empire, and the cradle of the Renaissance, it is also home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, including high art and monuments. Marche

Montemaggiore al Metauro is part of the comune of Colli al Metauro, Marche, central Italy. It was a separate area until 1st January 2017. This historic hamlet developed around an old castle, with stunning views over the Metauro Valley.
