The Mineralogy Museum houses precious originally part of the old Natural History Museum's historical collections of the Royal University of Palermo who, during the nineteenth and twentieth century, have been augmented with contributions from scholars and collectors. The splendid specimens of the mineral gypsum-sulphurous Sicilian series, the precious crystals from every continent, the precious amber Sicilian, the rocks, the oldest research tools, constitute a repertoire of matter and history that traces a path through suggestions that lead back to life and geology of the planet Earth.
