The Diocesan Museum of Ascoli Piceno, is located in the first floor of the Bishop's Palace, ancient architectural complex consists of three buildings that overlook the square Arringo.

The collection, which was inaugurated in 1961 by Bishop Morgante, contains works of great value and artistic and historical significance, as the wealth of artistic expression created through the centuries by the local devotion, from the Middle Ages to the Baroque.

Among the major artists hosted Carlo Crivelli, Pietro Alemanno, Cola d'Amatrice, Simone De Magistris, Ludovico Trasi, Giovan Battista Gaulli, Andrea Pozzo, John Peruzzini, to the knowledge of the wooden sculpture and pottery of the same period and sacred jewelery, including pieces of great value, like the silver statue of St. Emidio and the arm reliquary, it operates both fifteenth goldsmith Pietro Vannini (sec. XV).

Of great interest it is the painted wooden ceiling, dating from the fifteenth century, which surmounts the Eden room.
