MILITARY HISTORICAL MUSEUM "Brigata Catanzaro" (MUSMI), inaugurated on April 28th 2007, is located inside the Biodiversity Mediterranean Park, it is a specialized museum that preserves relics, weapons and uniforms relating to a period that goes from the Napoleonic to the Second World War, entitled to the "Catanzaro Brigade" an army department founded in Catanzaro and consisting mostly of Calabresi, in the First World War, the infantrymen of the 141th Regiment of the Brigade received the gold medal for having driven out the Austrians from Mount Mosciagh. In addition, the Brigade is remembered by D'Annunzio for the Cruenta decimation of S. Maria la Longa. Inside the MUSMI, a trench has been realized with the contribution of the Istituto Luce, which during the journey are made to hear the real noises recorded at the front during some battles. The property has a well-equipped conference room. . All the material displayed inside the Museum was collected through the collaboration of numerous collectors who donated or deposited their pieces.
