Nitrodi spring, Ischia

Initially called Barano, in 1862, the Municipality chose to be called Barano d'Ischia, consisting of several localities: Vatoliere, Piedimonte, Fiaiano, Testaccio, Maronti, Buonopane. Buonopane is also famous for its healing water from the Nitrodi spring. © iStock/todamo
