The Alba White Truffle Festival

Alba and its hills host every year the festival of the white Truffle scheduled from October to November. This festival is the most important food and wine event of Piedmont region, a fair which attracts more than 600.000 visitors and representing one of the most important economic development elements, as well as the main tourist source of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato areas, hills recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the eight weeks of the Festival, the "jewel of the earth" will be at the center of a rich program of events that will include exhibitions, show cooking, food and wine tastings, cultural, musical, literary, folklore and sports events. Almost two months of appointments that will involve not only Alba, but all the territory where, year after year, renew the mystery and magic of Tuber magnatum Pico, which only in these areas has become the symbol of a collective heritage that involves the catering, hospitality and the authentic Italian way of life.
