The Caucasus Mountains

The Caucasus Mountains are a mountain system between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea and a popular place for climbing. The major mountain range of the Caucasus Mountains stretches for about 1,200 kilometres. The highest peak is Mount Elbrus, which is the highest mountain in Europe and rises to a height of 5,642 metres above sea level.
