M.K.Čiurlionis Memorial Museum
The museum was founded in 1963. the father of the artist and composer Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, where he often stayed in 1890-1911. They tried to restore the most authentic living environment of that period. The museum's collection of exposition consists of the legacy of MK Čiurlionis's works, biographies, and his family history. Also in the 20th century Druskininkai photographer L. Baranovsky's collection of negatives, works by contemporary artists dedicated to M. K. Čiurlionis. It is worth mentioning that Švėgžda's pastel cycles "Čiurlionis apelys", "Liškiavos monastery ensemble" are kept in this museum. This museum also functions as one of the main focal points of the cultural life of the resort of Druskininkai. It contains various literature related to MK Čiurlionis personality, lectures, screenings of films, traditional summer piano music concerts, annual "Baltų lankų" study week, concerts of students of the Piano Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, concerts of children's music schools, and various works by MK Čiurlionis.
