A cultural centre and art gallery situated on the Place d’Armes.

Due to the fact that it was carved out of the underground city's natural rock formations, the building itself is a distinctive architectural monument. The structure's name comes from the tunnel beneath it, which was once used to move supplies between the higher and lower areas of the city. On the site of a historic Franciscan convent, the building was erected in the early 20th century.

It has a neoclassical façade made of stone, a sizable central archway, and columns supporting the upper stories. The building's interior has been modernised and kept simple, with the gallery area in particular serving as a showcase for contemporary art and design.

Am Tunnel is now a cultural hub that organises a number of cultural events and art exhibitions every year. The old tunnel that runs beneath the building is where the exhibition space is located. The area has undergone meticulous renovation to become a contemporary exhibition venue that displays art and design from Luxembourg and other countries. Am Tunnel has a gallery area, a café, a restaurant, a gift store, and additional amenities in addition to these. These amenities are all connected to the exhibitions that are now on show. The building itself is a well-liked tourist attraction and is regarded as one of Luxembourg City's most distinctive and fascinating cultural landmarks.
