Explore artefacts and artwork from every part of Luxembourg’s history.
The National Museum (MNHA for short) is housed in a five-story building with five additional floors below ground. It was recently refurbished so the building has a sleek, modern look. The Museum is located in Fishmarket, the heart of the Ville Haute quarter. MHNA is dedicated to supporting, preserving, and promoting art and history. The Museum has a neoclassical style that features multiple columns and straight lines.
Three permanent collections are located in MNHA’s central building: the Coin Cabinet, Fine Arts, and Archaeology. The Arts and Crafts exhibition is in the Wiltheim Wing and includes clocks, silverware, furniture, and more. With interactive exhibits and activities, kids will have loads of fun as well!
The research library and archives are a must-see for those interested in historical documents or non-fiction.
