Being a huge country situated south of the USA, Mexico is much influenced by its northern neighbor, especially along the border and especially in the many Tex-Mex restaurants’ food offer. And yet it is so authentic, so real and so different that it is in fact the opening door to a whole new continent: the Central and Latin American one. Fiestas until dawn and seafood for brunch (for curing the hangover). Tequila, music, sombreros, delicious (and sometimes VERY spicy) food. As colorful as a Frida Kahlo’s canvas and as sweetest as Vanilla Flan. This is Mexico. A country with a very rich indigenous history and heritage which is still visible and breathable in the big cities and in the small villages, Mexico is mostly known for the warmth and the hospitality of its people. Mexicans enjoy their long meals with friends and family as often as they can, they visit their neighbors ‘just to catch up’ and will help any tourist who is lost or want to get closer to beautiful local spots. In Mexico you will never be alone, literally and metaphorically. Either you dive into the fresh water (and for some, holy waters) of the cenotes or you sweat in the golden desert in the north, Mexico is a land of unique experiences. From the fisherman villages like Tulum, to the chaotic capital city of Mexico city, from breath-taking nature in lake Chapala to mouth-watering burritos at every corner of every town, Mexico will uncover itself and leave you speechless.

Mexico

Condesa or La Condesa is an area in the Cuauhtémoc Borough of Mexico City, south of the Zona Rosa and 4 to 5 km west of the Zócalo, the city's main square. It is immediately west of Colonia Roma, together with which it is designated as a "Barrio Mágico Turístico" ("Magic Neighborhood for Tourists"). Museo Memoria y Tolerancia

Located in Xochimilco, the Dolores Olmedo Museum houses the collections that its founder donated to the people of Mexico: works by Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo and Angelina Beloff; pieces of prehispanic art, novohispano art and popular art.

MISSION
Fulfill the ideal of Diego Rivera to publicize the prehispanic cultural wealth and promote the artistic creativity of the people of Mexico.

VIEW
To be a cultural reference open to dialogue between pre-Hispanic Mexico and today.

OBJECTIVES
• Achieve the economic sustainability of the Museum in order to safeguard, conserve and disseminate the prehispanic, artistic, architectural and natural art heritage that houses the Diego Rivera Anahuacalli Museum, inherited by Diego Rivera from the people of Mexico.
• Obtain funds to conserve, classify, restore, preserve and safeguard the work and space inherited from the people of Mexico by Diego Rivera, which is housed in the Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli Museum.
• Ensure that the Museum is positioned as a cultural reference point in the country.
• Constitute the Museo Diego Rivera Anahuacalli as a meeting point and showcase for artists who begin their career.
• Open the ecological space to the public.
• Develop cultural activities that bring and involve the public: concerts, exhibitions, workshops, etc.
• Encourage the development of artistic sensibility as an integral part of the lives of individuals.
• Update the museography of the Museum and the Collections Winery of the Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli Museum.
• Achieve the training and education of the personnel that works in the Museum.
• Install the systems and the security program for the protection of the Museum and the work.

Museo Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli

The National Museum of History is the site that holds the memory of the history of Mexico, from the conquest of Tenochtitlan, in 1521, to the Mexican Revolution, in the second decade of the 20th century. Its exhibition halls show us a diversity of historical testimonies - such as paintings, flags, documents, weapons, furniture and clothing - that have managed to preserve themselves, and that are representative of four centuries of the history of our country.

The museum is located in the Chapultepec Castle, a historical building of high symbolic value for Mexicans, whose construction began in 1785 during the government of the Viceroy of New Spain, Bernardo de Gálvez. Originally, it was created for rest home, however, through time, it was adapted to its different uses, from Military College, First Astronomical Observatory, resting place during the Second Mexican Empire and presidential residence. Museo Nacional de Historia, Castillo de Chapultepec

The Museum of Light was inaugurated on November 18, 1996 in the Old Temple of the Maximum College of San Pedro and San Pablo, in the Historic Center of Mexico City. This building, witness of remarkable and determining events of the national life, added to the scientific content of the Museum its artistic and historical richness, thus offering a novel and original discourse where science, art and history would amalgamate in a natural way, to delight and knowledge of its visitors.
 
After nearly 14 years of operation, in the framework of the celebration of the Bicentennial of Independence in 2010, this venue became the seat of the Museum of the Constitutions. It was so, after moving the Filmoteca of the UNAM of the place that occupied in the Small Patio of the Old School of San Ildefonso, was relocated in him to the Museum of the Light. The Museum opened its doors in this new headquarters to resume activities at the end of January 2011.
