The Casablanca Cathedral, or the Église du Sacré-Cœur de Casablanca, is a now defunct Catholic church. It was built in 1930 when Morocco was still a French colony, and stopped its religious services after Moroccan independence in 1956. Today it serves as an event and cultural center, and remains an example of Neo-Moorish and Neo-Gothic architecture. Picture © Credits to istock/mohamed rouggani
