Maing Thauk, Inle Lake

Maing Thauk is a small village on the bank of the famous Inle Lake. Well, partly on the bank - half of the buildings stand on stilts in the lake itself. Wooden walkways between the houses provide relatively high vantage points for photography, a great rarity on the flat, swampy shores of the lake.
