Shwedagon Pagoda is the most revered Buddhist place of worship in Myanmar. The main stupa is believed to contain hairs of Buddha Sakya Muni. This temple has been in existence since at least 6th century CE, although the current structures have mostly been built in 18th century. © Istock/f9photos
