Are you interested in learning more about the city of Amsterdam? At the Amsterdam City Archives you can find anything you’re looking for from the history of this great city to the architectural design to the stories that made this city.

With documents about the history of Amsterdam, all sorts of information and a shelf length of 50 kilometres, this is the biggest municipal archive in the world! Also, the interior of this grand building is a sight to see itself.

The archive organises different exhibitions in the Amsterdam Treasure Room, that you can visit for free. Every Sunday at 14:00 there are tours that you can join for €7,50 (free for kids up to 16).
