- Free roaming monkeys! Early in the day, these guys are mostly chilling around in the zoo. Come by later in the day to see the monkeys really roaming across the zoo paths when they get up close. 
- Crowded on the weekends and holidays, Apenheul is one of the most popular animal parks in the area. The gorilla feeding is one of the top activities to watch here, though best for Dutch speakers. 
- Kid friendly: playgrounds are everywhere in this park. There’s also a few interactive moments at Apenheul like where kids can compare their hand size to the monkeys.
