You’ve likely never seen anything like this before. See how people in Europe were living over 500 years ago in an exciting, interactive way.

Mix fun with education

The museum is a great outing for kids with lots of interesting exhibits related to history. With good information on these time periods, plus interactive stations and in-character actors to really make things special. Something you can expect to see here are some typical houses for each age.

  • Kid-friendly: they have a great playground for kids as well as craft activities and all the entertainment you could ask for. The whole park does not require too much walking so it won’t be too much for a family with littles.
  • Some interactive parts involve baking bread over the fire or a chance to attempt to sword fight. One thing you’re sure to love is going out on the canoe. And if that’s not enough, there’s also archery and more!
  • The gladiator show is definitely something to look forward to here! See the knights jousting just as people had in medieval times for their entertainment.
  • The subjects and exhibits shared here are fascinating and engaging for all ages. We highly recommend it! With well-explained history, The low countries’ past is brought back to life.
  • Archeon hosts several annual festivals such as the Midsummer Fair, the Midwinter Fair, and the Roman Festival.
