**Discover what goes on under your skin at this permanent exhibition. **

At first, this experience might seem a bit unusual or scary, but when you look closer, you will find that it is very informative and interesting. Because we all know what our body looks like from the outside, but most of us aren’t as familiar with it from the inside.

This project was started by Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who invented the process of plastination. Plastination is the process of human bodies being preserved for purposes such as research or education.

During this exhibition, you will go on a journey through the human body, by looking at real human bodies that have been plastinated. In this way, you will learn about anatomy and physiology, but also about the functions and developments or about diseases and the influence operations have.
