• Bolletje Winkel & Koffieschenkerij is a cafe and coffee parlor on the first floor. The cafe itself is popular with the locals, but the museum on the 2nd floor has mostly evaded tourist attention.
• After sipping some coffee and munching on a pastry or two, head upstairs for no extra cost. The Bolletje museum is all about the history of baking. See old baking machines, bakery collectables, and discover historical info with newspapers and adverts. The museum is small but cute and worth a look while you’re here for a coffee.
• If you want a bit more info on the history of baking, guided tours are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Available in Dutch, a volunteer guide takes you through the museum and gives you the background info you wouldn’t otherwise get on a lot of the items in the museum.
