When and How to Visit

Botanische Tuinen Universiteit Utrecht is open from March 1st to November 30th, welcoming visitors daily from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The greenhouses close at 4:00 pm. Admission is free for children up to 12 years old and for holders of a Museumkaart, Vrienden van de Botanische Tuinen pas, UU/HU/HKU medewerkers-/studentenpas, or USP-partner medewerkerspas.

To reach the gardens, you can take tram 20, 21, or 22 to the Padualaan stop or bus 28 to the Botanische Tuinen stop. If you prefer to drive, there are several parking lots available in the vicinity, some of which are free on weekends and holidays. Alternatively, you can park at P+R Utrecht Science Park and continue your journey by foot or public transportation.
