In the neighbourhood Zuilen you can find a brewery that is passionate about brewing organic and vegan beer. In fact, they are the first brewery in the Netherlands to brew 100% organically!

De Leckere uses 2000 year old spring water from the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The building in which they are located is an industrial heritage from the year 1914.

If you are interested in seeing how the process works, you can join one of the tours that are organised every Saturday. The tour takes about one hour and ends in their own café, the Werkspoorcafé, where you can taste different types of beers.
