What if instead of sushi on a conveyor belt, there is cheese coming by your table?
This is the concept of Kaasbar in Utrecht. They offer 24 different (handmade) types of cheese, all from small farmers that make them with passion. From water buffalo cheese, sheep cheese, cow and goat cheese - they got them all.
It can't get more traditional Dutch food than this! The different cheeses are presented on the conveyor belt, of which you can choose them. Chefs pair the cheeses with things like chocolate, almonds, figs, veggies, and sauces - unique spins that highlight the different cheeses.
Not only do they serve delicious cheese, they also have a wide assortment of wines and cocktails, and the staff here is happy to advise you on what wine to combine with the type of cheese you are eating.
