A 19th century beautiful concert house close by to Amsterdam’s most popular museums.

  • Only a quick walk away from the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum is one of the most beautiful buildings in Amsterdam. Concertgebouw is home to tons of music events. You’ll mostly get classical music here, but the British band Pink Floyd have performed here too.
  • Guided tours are available of the concert hall in English and Dutch for 11€ per person at certain times of the week. The tour takes you to rooms you don’t usually get to visit inside the concert hall, and the guide tells you a bit more about Concertgebouw’s history.
  • Concertgebouw Amsterdam also has a cage and restaurant inside so you can chill before or after enjoying the show. How about brunch and a show? Catch one of the Lunchtime Concerts from 12:30. The 30 minute concerts add just a bit of culture to your day. Tickets for the lunchtime concerts are technically free, but there is a 2.50 transaction charge. A small price to pay for quality entertainment!
