It’s the same question everyday: where to eat for dinner? If you’re tired of the same-old restaurants, it’s time to try out CTaste. One of Amsterdam’s most unique restaurants, CTaste is a dining event like no other. Mainly because you won’t be able to see any of it. That’s right: this restaurant is a commentary on living and working as a blind person, meaning you and your friends will be in complete darkness.

CTaste was made possible through the help of the Start Foundation, which is a group of investors who strive to create a completely inclusive market. This means working with innovative companies to make sure people with less opportunities can find work. CTaste’s employees are either blind or visually impaired, so they have no problem with the working conditions. In fact, they’re kind of experts. It’s no wonder why they receive a 9.1 rating for customer service. Help a good cause while getting a unique fine dining experience!

**A sightless event:**After entering the pitch black building, there are different options for what kind of “blind” experience you can get:

-A variety of pre-selected lunches and dinners, with different prices and packages. Choose from experience dinner, premier dinner, luxe dinner, or royal dinner.

• High tea? More like blind tea, wine, and beer! Who can say no to that? This is one high tea experience we give a big thumbs up.
• Birthday party? Special event? Bachelorette? They’ve got some specialty packages that you can request.
• Can’t get enough of the dark? Try out CTaste’s Blind Trust workshop, or participate in the escape room in the dark!
