It began in 1842 with a painting donated by a single individual. Meet the painter Cuyp family, society painter Ary Scheffer and the brothers Van Strij. The Golden Age is dealt with Dordrecht masters such as Nicolaes Maes and Ferdinand Bol from the school of Rembrandt.
