Step into a world of an immersive digital art imagination, where colours and design combine to make you feel like you are in a walking abstract art.
In the same family as ‘Atelier des Lumières’ in Paris, Fabrique des Lumières Amsterdam is a new cultural space and digital art centre in a former industrial gas plant of Westergasfabriek.
With various ongoing exhibitions of famous artists, each exhibit is a treat to the senses - from the moving animations projected on the floors and every corner of the wall, to the matching whimsical music. The state-of-the-art technology revolves around light and sound - taking a traditional canvas into a whole open world that you can explore.
Once you are in the venue, nothing is static - you can stand in one spot if you like, but all the imagery around you will continue to flow and change different scenes.
The current exhibition features Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, as well as other spaces within the digital art centre for other magical works.
