Always wondered how diamonds are found, polished and how they turn into those beautiful brilliants? At the GASSAN Diamonds Factory you can do a (free!) tour where they will explain all of this.

Amsterdam has a long history when it comes to the diamond trade and industry. Since the 16th century the city has been a trading centre for the sale of diamonds. In 1945 GASSAN Diamonds was founded by Samuel Gassan, a diamond cutter and today it is an important jewelry store in Amsterdam, where they sell different brands.

In an hour the GASSAN tour will show you the diamond factory, where diamond cutters transform a rough diamond into a brilliant and the Rolex Boutique, where you can see watchmakers at work. See different diamonds in their own showroom and take a look at the GASSAN Boutique. Finally, there is an atelier where jewelry is designed and the pieces can be adjusted.
