Enter a holy space to witness the hellish imagination of a famous Dutch painter from the 1400’s!

  • Irony at its finest! Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch (Who later went by Jheronimus) had quite the imagination. During the 15th century, he created wildy intriguing pieces of artwork that focused on nightmare-like landscapes and creepy creatures. The location of the art centre is within the lovely St. James Church, quite the contrast to the work focused on damnation held inside!
  • Although you can find Bosch’s art in galleries all over the world, what makes this art centre special is that it’s all replicas of his work - meaning you can get up close and personal (and even touch!) the artwork. Throughout the 4 gallery spaces you’ll find paintings and life sized replicas of his imaginative beasts. Head down into the basement and you’ll be transported back into time as you witness a recreation of Bosch’s workshop!
  • Bosch’s work can typically be explored as a self guided tour, however guided tours are available for an additional cost. You can send an email to email about guided tours. Rooftop views: After you’ve delved into the classic art, take the glass elevator up to the top floor for an incredible view over the city! Don’t forget your cameras for this one.
