**Visit a former post office built in Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance style, that has turned into a shopping mall. **

Behind the Royal Palace on Dam Square, an impressive building from the late 1800’s is located, which almost looks like a palace itself. In 1974, Magna Plaza became a monument, and now it belongs to the Top 100 Dutch Heritage Sites. The magnificent building was built to be a post office, but was transformed into a shopping mall in 1992.

Once you enter the building, you will be greeted by the central hall that’s surrounded by arcades. There are galleries on two upper floors, with stores such as Mango, Swarovski and Lacoste. Enjoy an Italian coffee or a homemade sandwich while admiring the Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance architecture.
