Mediamatic is an institution focused on new developments in art and culture. Since 1983 they have been dealing with nature, biotechnology and art. They organise lectures, workshops and art projects in a strong international network.

At Mediamatic they are always looking for new developments in society. They are focused on how art, design and science merge and how they can use this to experiment with new (living) materials. They do this by challenging the senses and tackling the perception of food, waste and unconventional materials such as bacteria and fungi.

Mediamatic organises lectures to explore and learn how art, design and science can go together while looking at how our senses influence our associations and emotions. Join a workshop program and learn how to ferment, grow or renovate!
