MOA | Museum Oud Amelisweerd

Situated on the outskirts of the city, in the Amelisweerd forests, MOA | Museum Oud Amelisweerd is an art museum which houses three interesting collections: the Oud Amelisweerd country estate, the Armando Collection and a collection of Chinese and historical wallpaper. MOA is located in a renovated 18th-century castle on the historical Amelisweerd estate. The history of the estate dates back to the 13th century; the original castle, however, was destroyed by the French in 1672, leaving only the foundation. The current castle was constructed in 1770.
