Go in blind. Experience what it’s like to be blind at the museum. This is one of the best things to do in Nijmegen!

• How do you feel about blindfolds? MuZIEum is all about teaching people what it’s like to be blind. Leave your devices behind in a locker and enter the museum. There’s exhibits on Braille and some interactive exhibits too. You have to prebook in advance.
• The blind experience lasts about 1 hour and begins once you step up to the second floor. When you’re ready, your guide will take you in after a quick explanation. The experience is available in English & Dutch.
• You’ll be guided through the experience by someone who knows what it’s like to be visually impaired, so this is a pretty authentic experience! Each experience is personal as these guides have different stories to tell.
