See over a century of the Netherlands’ history in black & white and colour at the Nederlands Fotomuseum.

  • Discover a huge collection of historic, social and cultural images charting the Netherlands’ last 100 years. The Dutch Photography Museum preserves the history of Dutch photography with the museum owning 130 archives of Dutch photographers. -The museum offers free guided tours on Sundays. They start at 14:00, and take around an hour. Sunday tours are only available in Dutch. You can book a tailor-made tour by enquiring via email and these tours are offered in Dutch, English, German, French, Italian and Cantonese. Bespoke tours cost 75€ plus admission.
  • The museum is in an awesome location. You’re right inside the contemporary Kop van Zuid district and next basically door the Erasmus Bridge and Hotel New York.The museum has its own coffee bar, but if you’re looking for something more substantial the Foodhallen is super close by and Fenix Food Factory on Katendrecht isn’t too far away either. Both have various local and international food stalls with industrial decor.
