Located in the city, right outside of the central station, is Roost aan de Singel: an easygoing restaurant/bar where you can enjoy different kinds of dishes, also for vegetarians and vegans.

In summer, this is one of THE spots in Utrecht to go to.

The grass around the cafe will be filled with people that bring their music and their own food and drinks, so if you don’t feel like sitting down at a restaurant, you can always bring a blanket and sit down in the grass somewhere, watching the boats go by.
