Modern art lovers, contemporary art enthusiasts, and design aficionados - this is one must-see museum that is made for you!

  • Standing tall as one of the great museums on Museumplein, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is home to a profuse collection from homegrown Dutch artists like Piet Mondrian and Gerrit Rietveld to international wonders from Andy Warhol, Marc Chagall, Jackson Pollock, and Henri Matisse - to name a few.
  • The Stedelijk Museum can be recognisable on Museumplein from the big white bath-tub-looking building. This is its new wing that was opened in 2012 by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. It's attached to the original historical building next to it.
  • The museum has a permanent collection as well as a rotation of various exhibitions at the same time.
