• Where do you plan to meet up with friends in Eindhoven? The Blob, duh! Not only is it a hilarious name, it’s also impossible to miss. Located in the center of the shopping streets and placed next to the well-known Philips building, the blob serves as the beacon of Eindhoven.
• The Blob is a futuristic masterpiece designed by Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas, who designed a similar building in the center of Rome. Eindhoven is known for its experimental architecture, and the blob may take the cake for the funkiest of them all. It stands 25 meters high and is covered in glass and steel. It’s also got a wavy look to it, hence the name ‘blob.’
• The Blob is worth walking past just for the incredible sight. And let’s not forget those Insta-worthy shots! Besides acting as a captivating building to stare at, you can also enter the Blob! It actually leads into The Admirant shopping mall. Now you can tell your friends you’ve been shopping inside a massive blob!
