The film The Fault In Our Stars is about two teens who are both terminally ill with cancer and visit Amsterdam in the movie. Unfortunately, the original bench where the famous scene from TFIOS took place was stolen, but the city of Amsterdam replaced it with another one.

The disappearance of the bench made the news worldwide and te original bench was reportedly discovered in Hollywood, on the grounds of Studio 20th Century Fox, in November 2014. An Amsterdam Film Commission official, however, insists that the original bench was returned to its rightful spot. Unfortunately, it is still quite unclear where the original bench is, but visiting the spot is special anyway!
