  • Old reliable: The Noordermarkt - literally translated as the Northern Market - has been around since 1620, first named as Prinsenmarkt. Three years later it was renamed Noordermarkt by the city council, and will celebrate its 400 year anniversary in 2023!

The Noordermarkt offers all of your typical market essentials: they’ve got antiques, books, flowers and plants, clothing, artworks, jewelry, and so much more! It seems like anything you could possibly think of will be sold at Amsterdam’s Noordermarkt.
