These archives hold all the history and information about the city and province of Utrecht.

The Utrecht Archives have the biggest collection of documents about the history of the city and the province of Utrecht. It is the major source of information about the city, the towns and the people: the archives contain 200 kilometres of archives, images and 70.000 publications.

The Utrecht Archives institution collaborates with other partners such as (local) governments, private individuals, partner institutions and other museums in Utrecht. They organise activities such as exhibitions, guided tours and movie nights to take guests into the history and world of Utrecht.

This makes a great place to learn about the city, and what makes Utrecht so unique in the Netherlands!
