Believe it or not, the Municipal Cave in Valkenburg covers over 110 hectares! The cave is filled with limestone that used to be extracted by the Romans, but now you can admire the vast cave space covered in shells and other art! Tip: The caves stay around 12 degrees, so make sure to bring a jacket with you!
  • There are a bunch of different tour options to explore the cave: all with a professional guide, so you don’t get lost! Choose from a guided tour by foot, by train, explore the cycling gallery, or even find the hidden shelters where people tried to hide during WW2.
