Visit The Van Abbemusem if you are interested in contemporary art.

The Van Abbemuseum is known to be one of the most important museums for modern and contemporary art in Europe.

Opened in 1936, the museum has a collection of over 2,700 works of art, including key works by Lissitzky, Picasso, Kokoschka, Chagall, Beuys, McCarthy, Daniëls and Körmeling, of which a selection is on display. The museum was named after its founder, Henri van Abbe, who wanted to share their love of modern art to the city of Eindhoven.

The museum raises questions in the field of art and society in an experimental way.
