Vestvågøy

Norway is known for the complex and deep fjords along its west coast, as well as the midnight sun and Northern Lights. Mainland Norway stretches from the North Sea near Denmark and Scotland to borders with northern Finland and the northwestern tip of Russia, and has a long border with Sweden to the east. Norway also includes the Svalbard islands. A great introduction to Norway is the one-day Norway in a Nutshell package on a single ticket from Oslo or Bergen into the mountains, with a boat trip through the fjords. You can break the trip at several interesting cabins for walking or just admiring the view, and even hire a mountain bike for part of the journey. One of the highlights of the 'Norway in a Nutshell' package is Flåmsbana, a 20 km railway that's one of the steepest in the world. Along the way you'll see beautiful mountains, rivers, valleys, waterfalls, and other beautiful sights on your way to the town of Flåm. Go on top of the nearest top/mountain. Just for the walk. At the most narrow point there is only a few kilometers of Norwegian land from the sea to the border. At the same time the county is 700 km from south to north. Nordland mainland has a coastline of about 5,000 km - more than most countries in Europe. In the southern part is Vega, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. The history of Nordland is a tale about the gifts from the sea: One of the most productive seas in the world providing food all year round. The same sea creates a climate more moderate than any other place in the arctic.

A surf shop led by Kristian Breivik. He gathered a crew in Stavanger where most of the Norwegian surfers were and went back to Lofoten and is now having a surf shop in a place with under 15 people. There are a lot of surfers from all over who visits the surf shop. The price of renting a board is 300 NOK (31.4 EUR). 300 NOK (31.4 EUR) for a wetsuit as well.
