Norway is known for the complex and deep fjords along its west coast, as well as the midnight sun and Northern Lights. Mainland Norway stretches from the North Sea near Denmark and Scotland to borders with northern Finland and the northwestern tip of Russia, and has a long border with Sweden to the east. Norway also includes the Svalbard islands. A great introduction to Norway is the one-day Norway in a Nutshell package on a single ticket from Oslo or Bergen into the mountains, with a boat trip through the fjords. You can break the trip at several interesting cabins for walking or just admiring the view, and even hire a mountain bike for part of the journey. One of the highlights of the 'Norway in a Nutshell' package is Flåmsbana, a 20 km railway that's one of the steepest in the world. The city is dominated by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace are located side by side in the middle of the city centre. The cathedral, built from 1070 on, is the most important Gothic monument in Norway and was Northern Europe's most important Christian pilgrimage site during the Middle Ages, with pilgrimage routes leading to it from Oslo in southern Norway and from the Jämtland and Värmland regions of Sweden. Today, it is the northernmost medieval cathedral in the world, and the second largest in Scandinavia.

Museumsfjøset på Rekstern

Ørland Culture Center has two cinema galleries - one with 135 seats and the possibility of 3D viewing, while the Store Hall can accommodate over 300 people. As the cinema is digitized, we get the movies at the same time as Hollywood and Trondheim. We therefore have world premiere almost weekly.

We show movies in the evening Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday - and during the daytime Saturday.

Støren Kulturhus opened in August 2010. The house contains Culture Hall, cinema and Kulturkafeen. Støren Kulturhus is located in the Gauldal School and Culture Center.

Europe's ONLY 18-hole ETT-hole course is planning to open the ONE hole in the summer of 2014. This is obviously hole No. 18. Summer 2012 is used to prepare green for the hole. Issue (s) will be created next spring (2013).

ONLY game / membership requirements are clothes with SKOTSKE routes. You can beat whatever you want. FREE guest parking and pike fishing. Possibility of renting a boat / canoe.
