Cinema School Film School in Lodz invites you to unique screenings of films of world class cinema from the 35 mm tape. In the repertoire, we will also find screenings of the best Polish productions, screenings of films by outstanding directors and cinematographers (including Godard, Buñuel, Fellini, Kubrick, Polanski and Storaro and Nykvista). For those who want to stay current with the current distribution of cinema and film festival life - film news and winning titles of Polish and international festivals. The cinema also responds to the needs of the viewers by organizing special and outdoor shows (one of the most unusual projections in the history of the School Cinema was the 7-hour outdoor show of Béla Tarra's film "Szatańskie tango").

School Cinema takes place daily from Monday to Friday at 19:00. The cinema is located on the first floor of the Rector's Building of the Film School (Building A). The screening of a feature film is preceded by a presentation of a student's etude or a graduate of the Film School in Łódź.

DISCUSSION OF THE FILM CLUB

Projection is not all. We pay more attention to the film. We talk about it, congratulate the creators, point out mistakes and argue about who is right. The Film Club is a unique show, meetings with outstanding artists, and above all - endless discussions.

Meetings of the Film School Film Club are part of School Cinema. DKF special guests are outstanding filmmakers and discussions are moderated by filmmakers and film critics. Under DKF, there are also presentations of etudes produced at the Film School, which are the starting point for discussions on film topics. Another important point of the DKF is the monthly meeting of the series "Filmmakers and critics talk", during which students 'works are confronted with the critics' opinions - Joanna Ostrowska, Kubia Mikurdy and Jakub Socha.
