Muzeum Wsi Opolskiej w Opolu

Museum of the Opole Countryside in Opole is the only open-air museum in Opole Voivodship and one of the four midwives in the historical borders of Silesia. During the nearly 50 years of the Museum's activity a rich outdoor exhibition of wooden architecture of the Silesian Opole countryside has been created, which, combined with a wide range of museums, such as outdoor events, exhibitions, contests and shows, is a remarkable attraction of the region. This is proved by several tens of thousands of visitors each year, and the words of recognition and positive opinions expressed by them, as well as by a group of professionals dealing with the protection of historical monuments and documenting and popularizing folk culture.
