Parque de Santa Catarina

This is the largest garden in Funchal. Very sought after for it’s abundant nature and life but also because of the views you can get of the whole city from its highest point. It usually has many child oriented areas and activities, but it also holds the historical Santa Catarina Chapel, the first chapel ever constructed in Madeira. This garden is also used as the venue for Madeira’s biggest summer festival: NOS Summer Opening.
