Praia da Duquesa

Praia da Duquesa is a beach limited by the Chalet Faial on the western side and the Palácio Palmela on the eastern one. This palace was the old residency of the Palmela Duchess, who gave the beach its name. The calm and clear waters and the relatively big sand strip make it a favoured location for sunny days, so expect it to be crowded in the summer! It is close to the town of Cascais and to the many restaurants, bars and esplanades in the area. It is easily accessible by the pathway following the shore, with a stairway and a ramp, or coming from the Conceição beach right next to it. There is supervision, medical support and the parking lot is very close.
