Praia da Terra Estreita / Praia de Santa Luzia

Praia da Terra Estreita is also called Praia de Santa Luzia because of the nearby village of that name. It offers a long sandstrip, in a spot of Ilha de Tavira where the dunes take up most of the scenery. A great part of the charm of this beach is the way to access it. You must take a boat from Santa Luzia village, going through the Ria Formosa canals and finnally arriving at a wooden pathway leading to shore. This beach is one of the favourites of Tavira! It has supervision in the summer.
