The Municipal Theatre Port consists of the Rivoli Theatre and Teatro Campo Alegre, two poles of the same structure that is stated as one of the most important tools in the implementation of cultural policies defined by the city of Porto.

Teatro Municipal do Porto, through its two hubs - Rivoli and Campo Alegre - presents a multidisciplinary program open to a wide range of latitudes and different kinds of Audiences, carrying out the strategy laid by the Culture Department since its reopening in September 2014. The balance between what is done in this city, what is shown around the country and the international program que will be shown in Porto, this makes the Theatre venue for artistic discovery and Confirmations. It is a place where different approaches are programmed and presented on different scales, from the small dressing room to the stage under, the lobby or different auditoriums. The Theatre main disciplines are: dance, performance, theater, thought, cinema, music, literature, exhibitions, puppetry and new circus.
